We understand the importance of accessible laundry facilities for our guests. Each lodge provides self-serve laundry rooms equipped with modern washers and dryers, available 24/7. Complimentary laundry soap is typically provided, and some locations also offer professional laundry services upon request. Our goal is to make your stay as hassle-free as possible.

At all of our locations, we take guest security seriously. Each lodge is equipped with 24/7 surveillance, keycard-access entry points, and well-lit outdoor areas to ensure a safe environment.
Some locations also have on-site or on-call security personnel to provide additional peace of mind. Whether safeguarding personal belongings or maintaining public spaces, we’re committed to your safety at all times..
Quiet Time
We are a 24 hour operations, and we ask that guest be respectful of their neighbors and keep noise to a minimum in the dorms.

Here are some of the most common inquiries from our guests:
Drinking Water
Water coolers with Hot and Cold dispensers are located around the lodge and at dorm entrances.
Please bring and use your own reuseable water bottle. Plastic water bottles are not provided in our lodges for enviromental sustainibility.
Firebag:
Every STR dorm in the middle lounge, or next to the laundry rooms in the LTR, as well as public spaces.
Willow:
In the main cooridor, outside every other dorm entry, and public areas.
Mount Logan:
In the main entrances of each dorm, and public areas.
Is there a sharps disposal?
Individual sharps containers are available at the front desk and sharp containers are located in all core public washrooms and in each bunk laundry room.
Laundry Room Facilities
Laundry machines are available in every dorm and lodge.
Laundry soap is provided and will be in your room or the laundry room via pumps and dispensers.
Bounce sheets are also available in the laundry room for anti-static and softening clothing. However, please note that they can deposit on fabrics and reduce the effectiveness of flame-resistant clothing, so they should not be used with such garments.
Always leave your washing machine door open after use to prevent mould, and clean out the dryer lint trays after each use.
Please be mindful of using the laundry facilities only outside of the observed quiet times. Night Shift Dorms are quiet from 11 am to 5 pm, and Day Shift Dorms are quiet from 11 pm to 5 am.
The washing of coveralls and other outdoor work attire in the lodges is strictly prohibited. Please use the site’s workwear linen services instead.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Lodge Check-In and Check-Out Information:

- Night Shift: 9:00 am (or when room is available)
- Firebag VIL
- All Shifts: 5:00 pm

Any guests checking in outside of the Front Desks hours, please see the security office.
Walk-In Reservations
Guests arriving at a Suncor Accommodation lodge without a reservation.
This would be outside of Suncor MyTravel Hours (referred to as a “walk-in”) or arriving before or after their check-in date on their reservation are subject to specific requirements.
Lodge guests must ensure the following:
- Receive a confirmation email for your lodge reservation before arriving at the site.
- Arrive at the lodge on the check-in date specified in your reservation.
- If you arrive at the lodge without a reservation, you must contact your company to make a new reservation.
- Additionally, if you arrive after your reservation’s check-in date, it will be considered a no-show and invalid. A new reservation will need to be created for you.
- Please note that lodge rooms may not be available upon arrival for guests without a reservation.
Reservation Changes, No Shows and Late Checking Out
If you have any changes to your reservation shift or dates, such as a day-to-night shift, overtime, or early departure, please contact your company’s Travel Coordinator or Suncor MyTravel.
After making the changes, please reconfirm them with the front desk to ensure the update has been communicated and reflected on our end, and your room access has been adjusted accordingly.
Suncor Cancellation Policy & No-Shown Reservation Charges
Contractors must notify their travel coordinators of cancellations for both flights and lodging accommodations at least 24 hours before their scheduled departure. This applies to both the first leg of the flight and the first night’s stay at a Suncor-provided lodge. Failure to comply will result in the following charges:
– $125 for the lodge rooms first night.
– $220 for the first leg of the flight; a return in the same reservation will be canceled.
– $245 for both Inbound flight and lodge reservation No Shown.
Late Checkout Requirements
Contractors must adhere to the lodge’s checkout timing and procedure.
Failure to do so will incur a late checkout fee of $60 to the contractor.
Note: Fees and adjustments may be charged annually by Suncor to the contractor.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, all lodges provide high-speed Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas.
Are meals included?
Yes meals from the dining and lunch area are included.
Items from the convenience store are at the cost of the guest.
Airline Lost Luggage
Neither Suncor nor its third-party charter flight providers shall be responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged baggage.
If misplacement or loss of your baggage results in delayed or missed work (i.e. PPE or tools packed inside your baggage), you will not be compensated for these items or loss wages.
You need to speak to a customer service agent at the airport and within 24 hours of your arrival.
Should the item be located, you will be contacted by Suncor to discuss next steps.
Is there luggage storage?
Luggage storage is available for all guests who need a place to store luggage before catching flights.
Please ensure a Suncor luggage tag with your name and badge number is attached with the storage luggage
Quiet Times
We kindly request that guests observe (rule 3. of rules and regulations for guests of Suncor Accommodations) quiet hours between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, including shifts.
These hours apply throughout the camp, but are strictly enforced in the designated Night Shift and Day Shift dorms with their respective hours.
Any disturbances during these hours, please contact the site’s non emergency security line.
Room Maintenance Issue
To report a maintenance issue or request repairs for your Room or Public area:
Please arrive at the front desk and enter your concerns in the lodge’s Maintenance Request Log with your information and the issue.
This log allows guests to document issues needing attention and track their progress by the buildings maintanence team and Front Desk.
If you’re experiencing a lack of water, power, heat, air conditioning, or any other essential services, we’ll need to relocate you immediately.
For any emergency maintenance issues outside of front desk hours, such as a door lock malfunction, pipe burst or water leak, HVAC failure, power outage, or alarms, please contact the site’s non-emergency security line and report the issue.
Guest of Suncor Accommodations Rules and Regulations
You will need to agree to the Guest of Suncor Accommodations Rules and Regulations upon every stay by paper, or once a year online via the Suncor Travel Portal.
Lodge Consent and Drug Interdiction Forms
Fort Hills (Logan and Willow) and Firebag (Village) Lodges
Note: You must provide your correct badge ID # in order for your consent to be valid.
Lodge consent forms (Firebag and Fort Hills) must be signed in iLogistics, Suncor’s travel portal.
You will be notified with instructions annually when you need to re-sign your lodge consent form. You can check your profile in the travel portal to see when your consent form expires under the “My Courses” section.
