Every Room, Every Stay:

Mini Fridges Now Standard in Every Room at Willow Lodge

As part of our ongoing commitment with Suncor on improving our guest experiences at Willow Lodge, we’re pleased to share an important room upgrade that was completed this fall.

On November 7, 2025, additional mini fridges were purchased and finally delivered to Willow Lodge to ensure that every guest room now includes a fridge. Installation was completed in fridge-less rooms by mid-November.

Because Willow Lodge was created by combining four former Horizon North camp lodges into one unified facility now Willow, some rooms already included mini fridges from previous, while others did not. To eliminate this inconsistency between rooms and the uncertainty it created at check-in, we prioritized and invested in additional fridges so that all rooms now offer the same standard amenity that others had.

This upgrade means guests can confidently:

  • Store food and drinks in their room, keeping them cold
  • Keep medications properly refrigerated when needed
  • Check in knowing they won’t have to “luck out” with their room assignment having a fridge or not

Standardizing this feature across all our rooms helps create a more consistent, comfortable, and predictable stay for our guests at Willow.
